Now Available: 2018 ANCDS Conference Paper

Dear ANCDS Members,

When I assumed the role of ANCDS President, I noted that my goal for the year was to promote the implementation of research into clinical practice.  One means of doing that was to coordinate the writing of a conference paper co-written by a practicing clinician and a researcher.  The intent of the paper is to describe the potential for and barriers to the immediate clinical implementation of the research presented at our annual meeting.

The 2018 paper, which was co-written by two clinician-researcher pairs (Heather Coles and Edie Babbitt; Neila Donovan and Kaitlyn Dietz), is now available.  Click here to read the paper or visit the "Past Meetings" webpage and click the link under the 2018 meeting heading.  I think that the authors have provided a valuable analysis and excellent food for thought.  I hope you will enjoy reading their work, and I would be most pleased to have feedback from you regarding this initiative.

Sincerely,

Linda Shuster, PhD, CCC-SLP, F-ASHA
2019 ANCDS President
