Nominations for positions on the 2027 ANCDS Executive Board are now open! The open positions are:
- President-Elect – 1 position (3-year term)
The President-Elect shall assist the President and shall perform the duties and responsibilities of the President if the office is vacated. The elected individual will serve as president-elect, president, and past-president in consecutive years. - Treasurer – 1 position (2-year term)
In conjunction with the ANCDS Central Office, the Treasurer shall keep, or cause to be kept, the books belonging to this Academy with complete and accurate accounts of all monies, funds, and property of the Academy, and all disbursements, resources and liabilities of the Academy, and shall have the care and custody of the money, funds, valuable papers, documents, and securities of the Academy. - Member-At-Large – 2 positions (2-year term)
Members-at-large are active members of the Executive Board, attending monthly meetings and serving as the liaison between the Executive Board and a committee assigned to them by the President.

To promote diversity and representation on the ANCDS Executive Board, we encourage nominations of individuals from minoritized and under-represented communities, including Black, Indigenous, People of Color, LGBTQIA2S+, and individuals from outside the United States.

You may, but need not, contact an individual nominee in advance. If the Nominations Committee selects the individual, a Nominations Committee member will contact them to confirm their interest.
