You are invited to become a mentor for a 2026 ANCDS Student Fellow!

The ANCDS Membership Committee is seeking volunteer mentors for our 2026 Student Fellowship Award recipients. All ANCDS members are eligible to serve as mentors.

The Student Fellowship Award supports full-time master’s and doctoral students in speech-language pathology and related fields who are interested in clinical neurologically based communication disorders and sciences. This year, the Membership Committee selected 12 fellowship recipients representing a broad range of clinical and research interests.

Fellowship recipients receive complimentary registration for the ANCDS Annual Scientific Meeting and ANCDS membership for one calendar year. Because many of these students will be attending the conference for the first time, mentors can play an important role in welcoming them to the ANCDS community, helping them navigate the meeting, and supporting their professional development.

This year’s Annual Scientific Meeting, “Motor Speech Disorders Across the Lifespan: From Foundational Perspectives to Practice Innovations,” will be held in person in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Wednesday, November 18, 2026. Student fellowship recipients and their mentors will be recognized during the Business Meeting. To view the meeting schedule and presentations and to register, click here.

If you are interested in serving as a mentor or have any questions, please email ANCDS Membership Committee Chair Kimberly Eichhorn, M.S., CCC-SLP, ATP, BC-ANCDS, at [email protected].

Thank you for considering this opportunity to welcome and support the next generation of ANCDS members. We look forward to seeing everyone in Indianapolis!
