It is time once again to renew your ANCDS membership for the 2021 calendar year!
We are proud to say that during these challenging times in 2020, ANCDS has continued to offer members opportunities for continuing education. We offered three webinars through live and archived formats. Topics included supporting reading comprehension for persons with aphasia, memory intervention following TBI, and Verb Network Strengthening Treatment guidelines.
We are excited that our 2020 Annual Scientific Meeting will take place this year despite the pandemic. This virtual event, “Health Economics and Quality of Life in Neurologic Communication Disorders” will feature 4 webinars on dates in October and November, and will offer members flexibility in participating live or on demand by November 30, 2020.
With your support, we awarded 14 fellowships to Masters and Ph.D. level students who will participate in the 2020 conference, and receive directed mentorship from ANCDS members in the year to come. As we look toward 2021, we hope to accomplish even more for and with our members. A new look to our website is in the works for 2021, and we will continue to offer webinars, board certification, and more.
Please take a moment to submit your renewal online (renewing life members, please use this form) and confirm your commitment to our professional association. We hope to work together in the coming year to establish a better understanding of and enhanced assessment and treatment methods for neurologic communication disorders.
If you have any questions, or need assistance completing your renewal, please contact the ANCDS Central Office ([email protected] or 651-925-5528).
We look forward to working with you in 2021 and beyond!
Thank you,
Miriam Carroll-Alfano, Ph.D., CCC-SLP
