ANCDS Membership Renewals Now Open!

Dear ANCDS Members,

It is time to renew your ANCDS membership for the 2023 calendar year!  We are proud to say that during these challenging times, ANCDS has continued to offer members opportunities for continuing education.  This year we offered three webinars through live and archived formats.  Topics included care for youth with brain injury, promoting autonomy in individuals with communication disorders, and counseling in primary progressive aphasia.

We are excited that our 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting is returning to an in-person event.  This event, “Right Hemisphere Disorders,” will take place on Wednesday November 16, 2022, in New Orleans, LA at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside Hotel.

With your support, we awarded 12 student fellowships to Master's and Ph.D. level students who will participate in the 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting, receive mentorship from ANCDS members, and free membership for the year to come.  As we look toward 2023, we hope to accomplish even more for and with our members.  We will continue to offer webinars, board certification, and more.

Please take a moment to submit your renewal online (check your email for the invoice) and confirm your commitment to our professional association.  We hope to work together in the coming year to establish a better understanding of and enhanced assessment and treatment methods for neurologic communication disorders.

If you have any questions, or need assistance completing your renewal, please contact the ANCDS Central Office ([email protected] or 651-925-5528).

We look forward to working with you in 2023 and beyond!

Thank you,

Miriam Carroll-Alfano, Ph.D., CCC-SLP
Chair, ANCDS Membership Committee
