The Membership Committee is pleased to report that membership applications are now submitted electronically though the ANCDS website (ancds.org/become-a-member). Since the online membership application process went live this spring, we have approved nine full memberships and five student memberships. Currently, we have 245 full members, 38 student members, and 14 life members, for a total of 297 members. Information about becoming a member can be found under the About Us tab on the ANCDS website.

The Membership Committee is also happy to report that students can now apply for the ANCDS Annual Scientific and Business Meeting Conference Fellowship Awards electronically through the ANCDS website. Once again, the ANCDS will offer fellowship awards to ten students to attend the ANCDS 2015 Fall Conference in Denver, CO. The 2015 competition is open to currently enrolled, full-time speech-language pathology masters and doctoral students, and other graduate students specializing in clinical neurologically-based communication disorders and sciences. The announcement for the 2015 Fall Conference Fellowship Awards was disseminated internationally at the time of the website launch. Fellowship application reminders will be sent out again at the end of the summer. The Conference Fellowship application deadline is September 11, 2015, 5:00 pm EST. The Membership Committee will review applications and notify students of awards no later than October 5, 2015, 5:00 pm EST. Information about student fellowships is now available under the Annual Meeting tab on the website.
