ANCDS Proposed By-Laws Amendments

Dear ANCDS Members,

On behalf of the Executive Board, I am reaching out to voting members of ANCDS to ask that you take a moment to vote on proposed revisions to the By-Laws.  Approximately every couple of years, the By-Laws are reviewed and revised by the Executive Board and Committee Chairs, endorsed by the Executive Board, then submitted for a vote by the ANCDS Membership.

Please click here to view the revisions to the By-Laws.  You will see the major changes support the newly established Race, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (REDI) committee, the newly established Board of Residency Education (BRE), changes to the title of the Certification Board to Board of Clinical Certification (BCC) and the membership and terms of the BCC, adding appointments of the BRE and BCC chairs as liaisons to the Executive Board, revisions to the Nominating committee, miscellaneous edits to accurately reflect structure and function of various entities; and finally edits throughout the document to reflect gender-neutral language.

Please review the proposed By-Laws revisions here, then click here to submit your vote.  Your vote will reflect an all or none vote for the revisions.

Please REMEMBER to vote.  Return your ballot by the DEADLINE: November 1, 2022.

Sincerely,

Carole Roth, Ph.D., BC-ANCDS
2022 ANCDS President
