Dear ANCDS Members,
We are now accepting nominations for positions on the 2025 ANCDS Executive Board. The open positions are:
- President-Elect – 1 position (3-year term)
The President-Elect shall assist the President and shall perform the duties and responsibilities of the President if the office is vacated. - Treasurer – 1 position (2-year term)
In conjunction with the ANCDS Central Office, the Treasurer shall keep, or cause to be kept, the books belonging to this Academy with complete and accurate accounts of all monies, funds, and property of the Academy, and all disbursements, resources and liabilities of the Academy, and shall have the care and custody of the money, funds, valuable papers, documents, and securities of the Academy. - Member-At-Large – 2 positions (2-year term)
Members-at-large are active members of the Executive Board, attending monthly meetings and serving as the liaison between the Executive Board and a committee assigned to them by the President.
Please send your nominations to Lynn Maher, Chair, Nominations Committee, at [email protected], by Friday, May 17, 2024. Self-nominations are encouraged. In an effort to continue to increase diversity and representation on the ANCDS Executive Board, we encourage nominations of individuals from minoritized and under-represented communities, including Black, Indigenous, People of Color, LGBTQIA2S+, and individuals from settings outside the United States.

- Office for which the individual is being nominated
- Brief description supporting this nomination
You may, but need not, contact an individual nominee in advance. If the Nominations Committee selects the individual, a Nominations Committee member will contact them to confirm their interest.
